Making a donation to The Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast Trust Fund
All sponsorship money donated will go to our headline charity and other Rotary charities.
Donations can be made via our Peoples Fundraising Account or paid direct to our Trust Fund Account by cheque or bank transfer. Donors are encouraged to gift aid their donations as this will enhance their donation by 25%.
Team Captains are asked to motivate their team members to raise as much money as possible and there are prizes for the most money raised.
Donations via our Peoples Fundraising Account
This is the simplest way to make donations. Donors can nominate a sum of money, pay by debit or credit card and claim gift aid thereon as appropriate.
The Peoples Fundraising Account system asks donors to confirm that they are UK taxpayers and whether they wish gift aid on their donation to be claimed. If requested, Peoples Fundraising will pass the donation to our Trust Fund together and the gift aid claimed.
1. Team Captains can set up their own team's page within our Peoples Fundraising Account which will pull together all monies raised by their team.
To set up a team page, click on the link below which takes you to our Campaign Wall. Click on 'Create a fundraising team page supporting Rotary Dragon Boat Festival 2025’
'. Register as the person to create and manage your team page. Then create your own team page with your own Team name and Team web page address (URL). Select “Yes” to publish page, display total and number of supporters. Then you can send your Team web page address (URL) to all your team members and supporters to raise sponsorship together with the guidance notes in paragraphs (2) and (3) below.
Their donations will be credited to your Team.

2. Team Members who wish to set up their own individual fundraising page in support of their team need to access the team fundraising page using the team web page address (URL) obtained from their Team Captain. Then look for “Fundraising pages” and register & create an individual page.
3. Team Members and Supporters who wish to make a donation can access the team fundraising page using the team web page address (URL) obtained from their Team Captain. Click on 'Fundraising pages', find the Team Member's page they wish to support, click on “donate”, complete details and payment.

4. Donations by cheque or bank transfer
Team Captains will be sent details together with a Gift Aid Form to coordinate their team giving.
